Editorial policy
How content is created, reviewed, and published at The Daily Stash.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of affiliate relationships. Affiliate partners do not review content before publication. We do not adjust rankings based on commission rates. Two operators of similar quality: we recommend the better one — period.
Research
- Direct hands-on testing of products and services we recommend
- Interviews and quotes from named sources
- Verified data from official regulators
- Cross-referenced facts from at least two independent sources
We don't republish press releases. We don't write "based on a search of online forums" articles.
Review process
- Editor review — structure, accuracy, voice, value.
- Fact-check review — every numerical claim, named individual, and quoted source verified with a primary source link.
- Compliance review (commercial pages) — Canadian gambling advertising standards, required disclosures, age-gating.
AI use
We use AI tools for research, drafting, and copy editing. Every published article has substantial original human input. AI doesn't replace judgement, original reporting, or integrity. Disclosed because readers deserve transparency.
Updates & corrections
Time-sensitive content reviewed on a 60-day cycle. Bonus, operator, and schedule content reviewed weekly. Updates carry a "Last verified" date and a change log; original content is preserved. Public corrections live at /corrections. No silent edits.
